Let’s face it, middle school can be rough at times, just ask Big Nate. You could get yelled at by a teacher for no reason, roughed up by the bully, or get nailed with a test. (Wait: Do we have a test today?!) But Nate’s not worried because today in his fortune cookie he got the best fortune ever: “Today you will surpass all others.” So, Nate sets out to do just that. Peirce uses a blend of humorous writing, illustrations, and Nate-drawn comics to navigate the sixth grade world. Big Nate is sure to please fans of the Diary of a Wimpy Kid who are looking for more humor from a kid who just can get it right!
