Hey Suzanne Collins fans! Mockingjay is being released tomorrow. Dragonwings will be opening at 9AM so you can start reading your copy early tomorrow morning. Everyone who purchases a copy will receive a free Mockingjay tattoo. Mockingjay buttons will be given out to customers who pre-ordered their copy. The creators of Captain Underpants come together again for their second graphic novel.  We are introduced to Ook and Gluk, two cavemen who travel between the stone age and the year 2222.  Follow their adventures as they try to defeat their enemy, Chief Goppernopper, and save their friends and community from the evil Goppernopper Enterprise.  Ook and Gluk are helped on their way by Master Wong.  Master Wong teaches the cavemen the philosophy and technique of Kong-fu, providing Ook and Gluk with the means to take on the Goppernoppers.  It's a tale of friendship and heroism, accompanied by a large dose of laughs.

"Chalking about Art" and "Wau-King Art" Events

Dragonwings will be participating in the "Chalking about Art" event August 13th-20th. Stop by to help us decorate our sidewalk with a fiery dragon design anytime on August 18th. We will also be staying open until 8:00 PM on the 18th for the "Wau-King Art" evening art walk event.
